After fierce competition and strict selection, Jiangsu University finally won the right to host the eastern section of Baidu Track in this "China Software Cup" competition. Professor Tian Lixin, Vice President, said that today, with the rapid development of the Internet and artificial intelligence technology, a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform is sprouting. The trend of software technology's intellectualization and networking is becoming more and more obvious. Software has become the soul of the new generation of information technology industry. Software definition is the new symbol and new feature of the information revolution. Since 2021, Jiangsu University has established a strategic cooperation relationship with Baidu PaddlePaddle, relying on resources such as the open source in-depth learning platform of Baidu Feizhu, and the College of Computer Science and Communication Engineering has jointly built an internship practice base with Baidu. He hopes to not only design software with innovative thinking, but also actively establish excellent sustainable development concept in the process of software design, so as to realize the organic integration of various open thinking.
Ma Yanjun, general manager of Baidu AI technology ecology and senior director of deep learning technology platform department, said that Baidu PaddlePaddle is China's first independently developed, feature rich, open source and industrial level deep learning platform. Based on years of deep learning technology research and business applications, it integrates deep learning core training and reasoning framework, basic model library, end-to-end development kit, and rich tool components. Up to now, there have been 4.77 million developers, 560000 models and 180000 enterprises and institutions.
