ITIA hosted by CS school was held in Zhenjiang, Nov.27-29

From November 27 to 29, the first International Conference on Internet of Things and Intelligent Applications was held in Zhenjiang city. More than 100 academic and industry researchers from 9 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, China and Singapore, discussed the "Internet of things, artificial intelligence and other theories and methods and their applications in agriculture, education and other fields".

The conference was hosted by CS school  and co-hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of industrial network control security, Jiangsu Engineering Research Center of big data ubiquitous perception and intelligent agricultural application, Zhenjiang computer society and Beijing Xintong Media Co., Ltd. Yan Xiaohong, President of our school, delivered a welcome speech.

Zhao Chunjiang,  Chief scientist of Beijing Agricultural Information Technology Research Center and academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, Professor Chen Jiming, executive deputy director of Information Department of Zhejiang University, chairman of Dawan District 5g industry alliance and Professor Zeng Jianfeng of City University of Hong Kong, were invited to give keynote reports.

A total of 105 papers were submitted by 72 institutions including Newcastle University, Bradford University and Southeast University, and 62 papers were finally accepted. During the meeting, the authors conducted group reports and discussions on "smart agriculture and intelligent application", "Internet of things and intelligent security technology", "intelligent algorithm and optimization" and "multimedia and artificial intelligence" by means of online and offline combination. Four excellent papers were selected in the conference.
