1. Scholarship Grades and Proportions

The "Overseas Student Excellent Learning Scholarship" has 6 categories: special prize, first prize, second prize, third prize, fourth prize and merit prize. In principle, the proportion of awards shall not be less than 40%. There is no limit on the proportion of special prize and first prize. Please refer to the small print of excellent scholarship for overseas students of School of computer science and communication engineering, Jiangsu University for details.

2. Scholarship Application Requirements and Methods

• "Overseas Student Excellent Learning Scholarship" Application Requirements

a) Students must study in school of computer science and communication engineering over one year for masters and doctoral degrees;

b) Students must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, and rules and regulations of Jiangsu University;

c) Students must follow one of the highlights during the latest one year:

1) As first author, or second author with supervisor as first author, having publications on academic journals (generally SCI journals) and important academic conferences (confirmed by school of CS) with the affiliation name of Jiangsu University;

2) Having right attitude, work hard and obtain excellent results in preceding academic year.

• The "Overseas Student Outstanding Performance Scholarship" Application Requirements

a)  Students must have been studying in school of computer science and communication engineering over one year;

b)  Students must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, and rules and regulations of Jiangsu University;

c)  Students actively participate in all kinds of computer related competitions, cultural exchanges, public benefit activities, etc., with outstanding achievements and won school level or above Awards;

d)  Students actively participate in significant public benefit activities, or actively participate in all kinds of social practice activities and social work, with outstanding performance;

• " Postgraduates Freshman Scholarship" Application Requirements

  a) Students must have been accepted as a postgraduate student at school of computer science and communication engineering;

  b) Students must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, and rules and regulations of Jiangsu University;

3. Students in any one of the following conditions cannot apply the "Distinct Overseas Students Scholarship":

   a) Violate laws of China or regulations, rules, regulations of Jiangsu University, and have criminal detention, public security penalties or administrative disposition;

   b) Be late, leave early, be absent without reasons or serious violation of school rules;

   c)Fail in one of the courses set in teaching plan;
