Biography

Jianping Gou was born in 1982, Sichuan Province, China. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2012. Now, he is currently an associate professor and master's Supervisor in School of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering, Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, China. His current research interests are pattern recognition and machine learning. So far, he has published more than international journal and conference 70 papers. He is a member of the IEEE.

Fields of research:

Sparse representation, nearest neighbor learning, manifold learning, dimensionality reduction, metric learning, deep learning and evidential reasoning.
