In order to welcome the 6th All English Teaching Competition of Jiangsu University, the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering held its 6th English Teaching Competition on the afternoon of October 24th in Room 208 of the Computer Building.
The judges for this competition are Professor Zhan Yongzhao from the School of Computer Science, Professor Ju Shiguang from the Guan Gong Committee of the School of Computer Science, Professor Han Fei, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science, Professor Cheng Keyang, Executive Vice Dean of the Cyberspace Security Research Institute of the School of Computer Science, and Associate Professor Zheng Wenyi, Chief of the International Department of Computer Science.
Teachers from various departments and students of all grades actively participated in the observation competition, and the competition was a complete success.
All participating teachers have carefully prepared, with clear teaching objectives, clear teaching ideas, reasonable teaching process design, accurate and concise language expression, and unique and innovative teaching methods. The participating teachers demonstrated strong teaching skills and teacher demeanor with their fluent explanations, beautiful blackboard writing, dignified and graceful demeanor. The successful holding of this teaching competition has promoted communication and learning among teachers, further enhanced their teaching ability, and stimulated their innovative vitality.
The judges upheld the principle of objectivity and impartiality, and conducted a professional evaluation of the classroom teaching of the participating teachers with a serious and serious attitude.
In the end, one first prize (Wang Liangjun), two second prizes (Zhang Wence, Li Meizhu), and three third prizes (Liu Jinping, Han Mou, Liu Min) were selected.
Finally, all the professors gave detailed comments on the English Teaching Competition, affirmed and supported the teaching design, teaching methods, and on-site performance of the participating teachers, and provided valuable opinions and suggestions to the participating teachers and observation teachers. This all English teaching competition not only showcases the level, professional competence, and teaching ability of our teachers in all English teaching, but also provides a stage for our teachers to learn, exchange, and jointly improve their teaching skills.
