The 25th China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition was held in Mianyang from August 20 to 21, 2023. Students from the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering advanced to the national finals and achieved excellent results.

The China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition is a national level competition organized by the China Artificial Intelligence Society and also one of the A-level national competitions recognized by our university. On the basis of the early professional construction, teachers and students of the Department of Intelligent Science and Technology formed their own teams for the first time this year to participate in competitions on two tracks. In order to better train their students, a total of 9 participating teams were organized, winning 5 provincial third prizes or more, and three teams successfully advanced to the national competition.

In the national competition, Teacher Ma Zhongchen led the participating students to be brave and strive for excellence, achieving good results. Wang Wenjie and Cao Yuxing teamed up to win the first prize, Mao Ruofan, Cao Yuxing, and Xi Binling teamed up to win the third prize, and Wang Xiao, Shen Rui, and Zhao Yingwei teamed up to win the excellent award.
