On November 27, 2022, the launch ceremony, forum, and award ceremony of the first China Graduate Network Security Innovation Competition of the Huawei Cup were held at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Our graduate students from the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering have been nominated for the finals and achieved excellent results.

The first Huawei Cup China Graduate Network Security Innovation Competition is one of the theme events of the China Graduate Innovation Practice Series. It is a national competition jointly organized by the Degree Management and Graduate Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Cybersecurity Coordination Bureau of the Central Cyberspace Administration, as well as the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Association and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, This competition is widely recognized by domestic and foreign graduate training institutions and enterprises in the industry. The competition consists of three stages: creative works competition, unveiling challenge competition, and online competition. A total of 755 teams from 147 universities participated in the preliminary competition, and a total of 18 winning teams were selected as the first prize, 48 as the second prize, and 59 as the third prize; In addition, the competition also selected 30 awards for excellent organization.

After receiving the invitation letter for the competition, our school actively responded to the call and vigorously promoted the competition through various channels. In order to select outstanding teams to participate in this competition, the Graduate School of Jiangsu University hosted the first China Graduate Network Security Innovation Competition hosted by the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering. Eight outstanding teams were selected to participate in the national preliminary competition. During the preparation period, Professor Chen Jinfu, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science, Associate Professor Song Xiangmei, Director of the Department of Cyberspace Security, and mentors provided guidance on topic selection, modeling, programming, and defense, encouraging participating students to fully demonstrate the spirit of Jiang University's daring and ambitious spirit. Jiangsu University has been awarded the title of National "Excellent Organizational Unit" for this competition.
