In the afternoon of November 14th, 2024, the open class of the first-class undergraduate program in English for OEC students, titled "Assembly Language and Microcomputer Interface," was held in classroom J1103, by the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering. This open class was targeted at undergraduate OEC students pursuing studies in Computer Science and Technology in English, and was taught by Associate Professor Zeng Lanling from the school.
During the class, Professor Zeng first led the students in reviewing the previous lesson, guiding them to consolidate their learned knowledge and grasp the key points in a timely manner. She then further expanded the teaching, focusing on the programmable parallel interface 8255, and explained its internal structure, modes of operation, and programming applications to the students one by one. Throughout the class, she adopted an inquiry-based teaching method, fostering an easy and lively atmosphere of interaction and encouraging students to continuously think, thereby broadening their horizons while reviewing old knowledge and learning new concepts. During the lecture, Professor Zeng was adept at closely integrating theory with practice, combining dull and difficult concepts with experimental examples to make the teaching content come alive. The students and teachers in the audience were all engrossed in the lecture.
