From November 22 to 24, 2024, the 2024 Jiangsu Graduate Student Academic Innovation Forum on "Internet Plus" and Intelligent Electrified Agricultural Equipment was held at the Mingdu Grand Hotel in Zhenjiang. The forum was hosted by the Jiangsu Graduate Education Steering Committee for Engineering Disciplines (Category 2), and organized by the Graduate School of Jiangsu University, the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, and the School of Electrical and Information Engineering. It was also co-sponsored by the Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Computational Intelligence and Low-Altitude Digital Agricultural New Technologies, the Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Industrial Network Security Technologies, the Jiangsu Engineering Research Center for Ubiquitous Sensing and Intelligent Agricultural Applications of Big Data, and the Zhenjiang Computer Society. The topics of this forum covered various aspects such as "Internet Plus", smart agriculture, and intelligent electrified agricultural equipment, aiming to explore new models of modern smart agriculture based on internet platforms through the integration of new generation information technologies such as mobile internet, big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things with agriculture. A total of over 140 renowned experts, scholars, and graduate students from across the country in the field of "Internet +" and intelligent electrified agricultural equipment attended the forum offline.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Ren Xudong, Vice President of Jiangsu University, and Professor Huang Zhiqiu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Committee, Vice President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Graduate Education Steering Committee for Engineering Disciplines (Category 2), delivered speeches respectively. They pointed out that the forum on "Internet Plus" and intelligent electrified agricultural equipment held today is the seventh provincial graduate innovation forum that Jiangsu University has hosted consecutively since 2018. With graduate students from universities in Jiangsu as the main body, the forum gathers experts and scholars from related fields both domestically and internationally to exchange and discuss, forming a graduate innovation training and academic exchange platform in this field that is based in Jiangsu, faces the Yangtze River Delta, and radiates nationwide.
