On the afternoon of November 14, 2024, the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering held a demonstration open class on "Cryptography" in Room 3101 of Jingjiang Building. This open class was targeted at undergraduates majoring in Information Security who enrolled in 2022. It was led by Professor Han Mu, the winner of the Second Prize in the 2022 Jiangsu Provincial College Micro-Teaching Competition, the First Prize in the Jiangsu University Micro-Teaching Competition, and the leader of the school-level first-class course "Cryptography". Young teachers from the school participated in the teaching observation.
Professor Han, incorporating his latest research achievements, introduced the application of cryptographic technology in intelligent and connected vehicle information security to the students, covering three aspects: an overview of intelligent and connected vehicle information security, security risk analysis, and solutions along with key technologies. During the teaching process, Professor Han skillfully integrated a large number of vivid cases to concretize and vivify abstract theoretical knowledge, guiding students to deeply understand the complex theories of cryptography. Professor Han emphasized the close integration of theory and practice, and his approach of explaining complex concepts in simple terms not only greatly benefited the students but also significantly stimulated their interest in cryptography.
This demonstration open class and observation activity was not only a transmission of knowledge but also an exchange and collision of teaching methods. It actively promoted the innovation and sharing of teaching methods, built a bridge for teachers across the school to communicate teaching ideas and methods, stimulated teaching vitality, and enhanced the teaching ability and level of the teaching staff.
