On May 18, 2025, the first standing committee meeting of the second-term Illusory Computing and Understanding Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG) was successfully held in a hybrid online and offline format. Sixteen standing committee members attended the meeting, which was chaired by Professor Yao Hongxun, Director of the Committee.
During the meeting, Secretary-General Zhao Sicheng reported on the committee's performance evaluation for 2024, summarized the academic activities conducted in the first half of 2025, and outlined key initiatives planned for the second half of the year. Standing Committee Member Wang Zhiyong provided a detailed update on the preparations for the "3rd CSIG Conference on Affective Intelligence," clarifying the direction for subsequent organizational efforts.
In the discussion session, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on several key topics, including the implementation rules for the evaluation of CSIG professional committees, joint organization of the Affective Intelligence Conference with the CAAI Affective Intelligence Committee, and awards in the field of affective computing. The discussions were constructive and consensus-oriented.

In his concluding remarks, Director Yao Hongxun fully acknowledged the committee’s achievements in the first half of the year and provided detailed guidance for the next phase. He outlined specific tasks related to academic event organization, cross-committee collaboration, and expanding the field’s influence, clarifying timelines and responsibilities for each initiative.

The meeting effectively enhanced internal communication and coordination within the committee, laying a solid foundation for the systematic advancement and successful implementation of its annual objectives. It is also expected to further promote academic exchange and disciplinary development in the fields of illusory computing and affective intelligence.
