On the morning of April 27, 2025, the College of Computer Science and Communication Engineering held a demonstration open class on Computer Networking and Security (Bilingual) in Classroom 103 of the Lecture Hall Building. Aimed at Year 2023 undergraduates majoring in Information Security, the session was delivered by Professor Li Zhiyuan, an award-winning instructor recognized for his excellence in micro-lecture competitions at both university and provincial levels. The class also attracted several early-career faculty members for observation and exchange.

Professor Li captivatingly opened the class with a practical case titled “Learn ARP Disruption Attack in One Minute,” introducing the theme “From IP to MAC: The ARP Protocol and Its Security.” Throughout the session, he skillfully integrated traditional blackboard notes with multimedia courseware, animations, instructional videos, and hands-on exercises, creating a multi-dimensional teaching environment. By combining theoretical explanation, interactive discussion, and live student practice, Professor Li not only systematically illustrated how the ARP protocol works and its associated vulnerabilities but also guided students to apply their knowledge in real-time scenarios. The class exemplified a teaching model that balances professional knowledge, practical skills, and comprehensive competence, resulting in an engaging and participatory learning atmosphere.
