On May 17, 2025, the “CSIG Image and Graphics China Tour” made its way to Jiangsu University, hosting a vibrant academic event focused on affective computing and visual intelligence. The session was organized by the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), co-hosted by the CSIG Affective Computing and Understanding Committee and Jiangsu University. Professor Mao Qirong of Jiangsu University chaired the meeting, while Associate Researcher Zhao Sicheng from Tsinghua University delivered opening remarks on behalf of CSIG.

The event featured invited talks by Associate Professor Gao Yue from Tsinghua University, Associate Researcher Zhao Sicheng from Tsinghua University, and Assistant Professor Wang Zhiyong from Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), who shared cutting-edge advances and innovative work in affective computing and image graphics. The forum attracted over 100 faculty and students from various universities, creating a fully engaged and interactive atmosphere.

During the Q&A session, participants actively raised questions related to the presentations, and the speakers provided thoughtful and detailed responses. The exchange fostered a deeper understanding of recent trends and challenges in the field.

By combining expert presentations and in-depth discussion, the event provided a valuable platform for academic exchange, broadened perspectives, encouraged cross-institutional research collaboration, and helped bridge theoretical research with industrial applications. It also brought fresh momentum to talent development and technological innovation in image, graphics, and affective computing.
