On the afternoon of August 30, Researcher Tian Feng from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered an academic lecture titled Human-Computer Interaction in the Age of Intelligence to faculty and students at our college. The session was chaired by Dean Mao Qirong and attended by teachers and graduate students from related research fields.
Human-computer interaction (HCI), a transformative information technology that profoundly shapes daily life and economic growth, is increasingly intertwined with artificial intelligence (AI). In his presentation, Researcher Tian Feng outlined the evolution of HCI, introduced cutting-edge technologies and current research trends, and shared progress from the national key AI project he leads. He concluded with forward-looking reflections on the synergistic development of HCI and AI, offering insights into future directions.

Following the lecture, Researcher Tian engaged in a face-to-face discussion with early-career faculty members. He listened attentively to their questions regarding career development and research challenges, providing thoughtful guidance and encouragement. He urged young scholars to broaden their perspectives, clarify personal goals, and commit to excellence in both teaching and research.
Dean Mao Qirong expressed her strong support for the growth of young faculty, noting that they represent the future and driving force of the college.
