Recently, the research team of the multimedia and intelligent computing research direction of the School of Computer Science published a review paper "Research Progress in the Explanatory Nature of Deep Learning" (Volume 57, Issue 6, 2020) in the top domestic journal Computer Research and Development in the computer field. It was evaluated by the editorial board of Computer Research and Development and was selected into the top 10 highly cited papers in 2020 (ranking top 2). This paper was jointly completed by Cheng Keyang, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Computer Science, Wang Ning, a graduate student, Shi Wenxi, a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Electronic Science, and Professor Zhan Yongzhao of our university. Jiangsu University is the first completion unit. The interpretability research of deep learning is an interdisciplinary research topic of many disciplines, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cognitive psychology, logic, etc. It has important theoretical research significance and practical application value in the fields of information push, medical research, finance, information security, etc. The paper Progress in the Research on the Explainability of Deep Learning reviews the history of the research on the interpretability of deep learning from three aspects: the origin of the research on the interpretability of deep learning, the research exploration period, and the model construction period; The current research status of interpretability analysis of existing models of deep learning is presented from three aspects: visual analysis, robust disturbance analysis and sensitivity analysis; This paper analyzes the research on the construction of interpretable deep learning model from four aspects: model agent, logical reasoning, network node association analysis, and improvement of traditional machine learning model. The multimedia and intelligent computing research team of the School of Computer Science of Jiangsu University has been committed to the research in the field of multimedia and artificial intelligence, and has made a number of innovative scientific research achievements.
