In order to promote the cultivation of undergraduate innovative talents and actively meet the needs of enterprises, on the afternoon of September 29, 2022, the College of Computer Science and Communication Engineering held the 2022 Baidu PaddlePaddle Industry Education Integration Professional Construction Seminar in Jiangsu University online. This seminar invited Zhou Tianyao, the head of Baidu PaddlePaddle's colleges and universities in the Yangtze River Delta, Zhang Tengfang, the head of Baidu PaddlePaddle's teaching and research, Luo Tao, a senior research and development engineer of Baidu, and Gan Zhijia, a teaching and research engineer of Baidu PaddlePaddle, for guidance. The meeting was presided over by Han Fei, Vice President of the University, and the leaders of all disciplines, heads of all departments and key teachers attended the meeting online and exchanged ideas.

Teacher Zhang Tengfang, the head of Baidu PaddlePaddle's teaching and research, gave a detailed introduction to Baidu PaddlePaddle's curriculum system, and met the personalized needs of different learners or schools by establishing a systematic, serialized, diversified and industrial application oriented AI curriculum resource database.

Luo Tao, a senior research and development engineer of Baidu, gave a comprehensive interpretation of the open source software development and practice curriculum design, and expounded the framework system development theory and practice curriculum from the application scenarios, pre requirements, course assignments and other aspects of the curriculum.

The experts and scholars attending the meeting had in-depth exchanges on the improvement of the training programs of various majors of the college, discussed how to further integrate with the Baidu PaddlePaddle curriculum system, and put forward targeted questions and constructive suggestions.

Finally, the participants also had a warm discussion on the construction of professional characteristics, the design of practical projects, the construction of teaching resources, and the guidance of students' competitions. The holding of this seminar has pointed out the direction and clarified the ideas for the construction of the college's industry education integration specialty, which will further promote the integration of industry and education, cultivate innovative talents in new engineering disciplines, and help the construction of the national first-class specialty and engineering education certification specialty.
