On April 21, our school held a meeting on the construction of Yixing County, Jiangsu University's leading county for agricultural science and technology modernization. Li Hong, Vice President, Ren Xudong, Director of the Science and Technology Department, Mao Qirong, Director of the School of Computer Science, Ma Guojian, Director of the Social Science Department, Han Rong, Director of the Academy of Arts, and Mo Ji, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education attended the meeting equally. Ren Xudong, Director of the Science and Technology Department, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Mao Qirong, Dean of the Computer College, the leading unit of the construction of Yixing Agricultural Science and Technology Modernization Pioneer County, Jiangsu University, first introduced the general situation of the promotion of Yixing Agricultural Science and Technology Modernization Pioneer County. Director Ren Xudong introduced the previous situation of the application and docking of Yixing's leading counties in agricultural science and technology modernization. The representatives of the participating teams had a warm discussion on the construction of the first counties, the formation of expert teams, and the docking of scientific and technological projects. Finally, Vice President Li Hong guided the promotion of Yixing's leading county in agricultural science and technology modernization. She pointed out that the construction of the leading county in agricultural science and technology modernization is of great significance. We should set up and give full play to the role of the school working group, actively contact the relevant departments of Yixing City, formulate the construction plan and implementation roadmap according to the agricultural characteristic industry of Yixing City, pay close attention to the implementation at all levels, and give play to the scientific research strength of the advantageous disciplines of agricultural engineering of our school, Build Yixing into a pioneer in the national agricultural science and technology modernization.

The meeting was also attended by relevant personnel from the Academy of Agricultural Equipment Engineering, the China Academy of Agricultural Equipment Industry Development, the Computer Academy and the Industry University Research Cooperation Office of the Science and Technology Department.
