On the morning of July 15, the 2022 Professional Construction Summit Forum of the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering of Jiangsu University was held in the 221 conference room of the College.

The summit forum was hosted by the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, and invited national famous teachers such as Professor Jiang Zongli of Beijing University of Technology, Professor Wei Xiaohui of Jilin University, Professor Zhou Shijie of University of Electronic Science and Technology, Professor Wang Shangguang of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Wang Liangmin of Southeast University, Professor Wang Qian, Director of Academic Affairs of Jiangsu University, Professor Zhan Yongzhao of Jiangsu University, and Professor Zhang Jianming of Jiangsu University China engineering education professional certification experts and senior teaching experts provide guidance. The meeting was presided over by President Mao Qirong, attended and participated in offline meetings by college leaders, heads of all disciplines and heads of all departments, and more than 60 off campus experts and key teachers of the college participated online and guided exchanges.

Under the auspices of Professor Jiang Zongli, each professional director made a detailed report on the preparation of the application for the certification of the Internet of Things engineering specialty, the construction of the national first-class specialty of computer science and technology, the construction of the national first-class specialty of information security, the application for the national first-class curriculum of Object Oriented Program Design and the Virtual Simulation Experiment of the Internet of Things in Agriculture based on the Internet of Things Cloud.

The experts and scholars present at the meeting fully affirmed the specialty and curriculum construction of the College of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, and believed that the connotation of the specialty construction of the new engineering discipline was constantly improved, and the curriculum construction and reform were constantly strengthened. At the same time, they also put forward targeted questions and constructive suggestions.

Finally, Wang Qian, Director of the Office of Academic Affairs, thanked all the experts for participating in this professional construction summit forum during their busy schedule, deeply analyzed the problems in professional certification, first-class majors and first-class curriculum construction, and put forward valuable suggestions.
