On August 24, 2022, Professor Xu Mingliang, Dean of the School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence and the School of Software of Zhengzhou University, went to the School of Computer Science to guide the development of young teachers and the application of scientific research projects. Mao Qirong, Dean of the School of Computer Science, Chen Jinfu, Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science, Professor Zhan Yongzhao, the academic leader, and the young teachers of the whole college attended the symposium together.
At the meeting, Professor Xu Mingliang shared the key elements and experience in the application process of NSFC, as well as in-depth analysis and explanation on how to improve personal influence and how to obtain funding from NSFC projects, based on his years of experience in applying for NSFC projects and the new requirements and changes in the application of NSFC projects. When talking about the development of young teachers, Professor Xu emphasized that young teachers should be committed to solving major national needs and problems with regional characteristics, and try to join the scientific research team to do organized research. Later, Professor Xu had a full exchange with the young teachers of our college, and answered the puzzles that young teachers encountered in the process of growth and development one by one, and pointed out the way in the direction of scientific research growth.
