2021 "Internet +" and Smart Agriculture International Conference Held

From November 26 to 28, the 2021 "Internet plus" and intelligent agriculture international conference held by the School of Computer Science of Jiangsu University was held to explore the new mode of modern intelligent agriculture based on the Internet platform by using the integration of new generation information technology and agriculture, such as mobile Internet, big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things, blockchain, 5G, etc.

Zhao Chunjiang, a researcher who is the chief scientist of the National Agricultural Information Engineering Technology Research Center and an academician of the CAE Member, Professor Yang Jian, president of the School of Computer Science of Nanjing University of Technology and a national outstanding youth, Professor Jin Yaochu, a Humboldt scholar in Germany, Professor Wu Chundu, vice president of our school, and relevant leaders and teachers of the International Division, the School of Agricultural Engineering, and the School of Computer Science attended the opening ceremony. More than 80 teachers and graduate students from relevant universities participated in the meeting through online and offline combination.

At the opening ceremony, Wu Chundu delivered a welcome speech, pointing out that this meeting is the continuation and expansion of the "Internet plus" and intelligent agriculture forum for graduate students in Jiangsu Province hosted by the school for three consecutive years, and a vivid practice of implementing the spirit of the national graduate education conference; The School of Computer Science reported the preparatory work for the conference, the review of papers and the recommendation of journals.



In the theme report, three experts, Zhao Chunjiang, Yang Jian and Jin Yaochu, respectively made a theme report entitled "Application of Information Technology in Crop Breeding", "Pattern Recognition and Visual Perception" and "Federal Learning for Efficient Communication".



The forum received positive responses from universities and companies in and outside Jiangsu Province. Seventy papers from 45 universities and companies, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing Agricultural University, and Jiangnan University Department, were finally employed and recommended to domestic and foreign journals for publication after expert review and preliminary review of journals. During the meeting, the authors reported and discussed their papers.
