Prof. Maozhen Li, who is the lecturer at Brunel University and the UCL at London University, was invited to give an academic lecture at the school of computer science and communication engineering. Li graduated from Xian Jiao Tong University (XJTU) as a doctor. Also, he worked at Tsinghua University for several years. His interesting areas are affective computing, machine learning, image process, human-computer interaction and embedded system and so on. He has been sponsored by many organizations and institutions, such as EPSRC, FP5 and TSB. In addition, he is the member of IEEE and AAAC. Up to now, more than 80 papers have been published by him, including IEEE control theory, IEEE video technology and system, IEEE biological and medical engineering, human-computer based on service and so forth. Currently, he is the member of editorial board in two international journals.
