On January 3, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of Jiangsu University's overseas students in December 2019 was held in the third lecture hall of the conference center. President Yan Xiaohong, vice presidents Zhang Jijian and Zhao Yutao, leaders and teacher representatives of some functional departments of the University, all staff of the Institute of overseas education, and 66 graduates graduated in December attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Gao Jing, President of the Institute of overseas education.

President Yan Xiaohong expressed his sincere wishes and ardent expectations for the graduates. At the same time, he encouraged them to carry forward the spirit of practical work, have the courage to grasp the opportunity, realize "small goals" and achieve "big dreams". Li Zhiwen, a teacher of the school of management, and William Max ssali, a doctoral student, spoke as representatives of teachers and graduates respectively. Xie Zhifang, Secretary of the Institute of overseas education, submitted a list of graduates to Zhu Yan, Secretary General of the Alumni Association, and the current overseas students have officially become alumni of our university. Subsequently, Zhang Jijian awarded the three graduates alumni liaison letters. Zhao Yutao presented exquisite souvenirs to the graduate representatives. In the end, Yan Xiaohong presented degree certificates to the holders of doctor's degree, master's degree and bachelor's degree respectively, and strengthened tassels.
