On April 23, the results of the 2021 Collegiate Mathematical Modeling Contest were announced. Zhong Qiyong's team from Computer Class 1901, School of Computer science of our university won the Finalist Prize. 

Zhong Qiyong is the first student to win this level of honor in the history of the School of Computer Science, and this team is also the second team to win this level of honor in the history of our school.

In 2021, a total of 26,112 teams from the United States, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries and regions will participate in the event, including students from Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other internationally renowned universities. There are 36 Outstanding winners, 585 Finalist winners, 1888 Meritorious winners and 5,323 Honorable Mention winners.
