In order to welcome "the second Session of Jiangsu University Teacher Informatization Teaching Competition", our college held the college informatization teaching competition on the afternoon of June 3rd in the computer building 103, and 3 teachers recommended by each department participated in the competition. Feng Jun, the former secretary of the Party General Branch of Education and Scientific Research, school leaders, department heads and representatives of award-winning teachers served as judges. Some teachers and students watched the competition and it was a complete success.
All participating teachers carefully selected the teaching content and prepared for the competition. Information teaching methods, digital resources and information technology were well integrated into the lectures. Highlight teaching emphases, solve teaching difficulties, and optimize teaching and learning process systematically by means of information technology.
The judges evaluated the classroom teaching of the participating teachers in an objective and fair manner. Finally, one first prize winner (Zhang Wence) and two second prize winners (Jia Hongjie and Zhu Huijuan) were selected. According to the requirements and regulations of the university, the two teachers will be recommended to participate in the school-level finals of backbone teacher and Assistant Teacher of the second Teachers Informatization Teaching Competition of Jiangsu University respectively.
Finally, Mr. Feng Jun, secretary of the Academic Affairs Office, made a detailed comment on the competition and gave guidance to the participating teachers on their teaching design, teaching methods and on-site performance. Secretary Feng pointed out that when teachers participate in the information teaching competition, they should extend the platform to the whole classroom, teach from the perspective of students, fully explore the depth of information teaching means, and really integrate information into the classroom. Secretary Feng put forward valuable opinions and suggestions for the participating teachers and the observing teachers. He also suggested that the participating teachers should constantly expand their knowledge scope, and take into account the knowledge points of other professional basic courses and public courses while teaching, so that students can really master what they have learned. This information teaching competition is a demonstration of the information teaching level of our college, and also sets up a platform for teachers to learn and communicate and improve their teaching level together.
