CS students won great achievements in the 14th National College Student Information Security Competition in 2021

Recently, by the Ministry of Education of Higher Education network space security professional teaching Steering Committee sponsored by Shandong University, undertaken by the "fourteenth National College students information security competition (competition)" final curtain. The competition received a total of 716 teams from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beihang University, National University of Defense Technology, Jiangsu University and so on, more than 2,000 college students (undergraduates) gathered to participate in the competition, after a period of three months of preliminary selection, written evaluation, revision review, final defense and other competitive aspects of the fierce competition. A total of 40 first prizes, 62 second prizes, 81 third prizes and 113 winning prizes were selected. The 3 teams entering the finals of our school all achieved excellent results, winning 2 second prizes and 1 third prize.



The National College Students Information Security Competition is the Olympic competition in the field of cyberspace security. It has become the competition with the highest attention from students of security related majors and A national class A competition. In recent years, our college attaches great importance to the construction of undergraduate majors and the cultivation of students' practical and innovative abilities, and actively encourages students to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship and various national discipline competitions. The information security major is the national first-class professional construction point and the third information security major that has passed the engineering education professional certification in China. Over the years, the major attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' innovation ability and practical skills. Graduates are well received by employers, and the postgraduate entrance examination rate is more than 30%. A large number of students graduate to work in national security, public security and other national security departments, cultivating a large number of outstanding senior professionals in cyberspace security for the country.
