  • Practice credit requirements

Practical credits and course credits are not universal. Ph.D course credits and practical credits must meet the requirements before they can enter the thesis dissertation defense. The practice credits must complete at least 10 credits.

1. Academic activities (2 credits)

Ph.D students must participate in academic seminars organized by the school, including academic lectures, academic reports, postgraduate forums, and other academic seminars by well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad. They should participate in more than 15 academic report activities during their studies. Academic activities are assessed by disciplines.

After participating in the academic seminar activities, a complete academic report must be formed. The academic activities and academic reports will be awarded 2 credits after passing the discipline assessment. If a Ph.D student reads an academic paper at an international conference or a national high-level academic conference, the academic report can be considered qualified.

2. Literature reading (2 credits)

Ph.D students should read a certain amount of foreign language literature, and cultivate the ability to study academic literature and the ability to acquire knowledge by themselves. Foreign language literature reading is organized by a group of experts in the subject direction before making research proposal and records the results. Those who pass will get 2 credits, and those who fail will not be allowed to enter the stage of research proposal making.

3. Seminar (1 credit / time, not less than 4 credits)

Ph.D students must publicly conduct literature research exchanges, academic research progress reports, and special seminar reports within the scope of the discipline. The exchange reports should not be less than 4 times. The leader should be responsible for the special seminar evaluation. Those who pass the assessment will receive 1 credit / time.
